When the workers stopped for lunch, the trusses for both houses were up and in place. They were in the process of sheathing the triangular gables that extend up to the peaks of the roof.
Then, by the end of the day, a lot of the plywood sheets were up and some of the edge pieces were in place.
The north house was covered--
but the south house (ours) had only half its cover in place.
I didn't see sheets of wood around, only remnants, so I suspect they stopped when they ran out of the sheathing. It looks like a lot of progress in one day.
The temperature never reached as high as 30 degrees but at least there is no rain or snow in the forecast until next Wednesday.
