The boom truck arrived before 9 AM and they began lifting trusses from the stack to the top of the house.
The guys on the ground would chain a set of trusses to the lifting bar and once it was on its way, they would bang the next five to loosen and fan them out for the next load; many of them were frozen stuck together.
Those on top swing them into place as they come within reach, nail them in place, set a board across them to keep them spaced above the top of the walls, and attach the prepared structure for the soffits and facia.
