Yesterday drywall finally arrived on Wednesday, the 22nd! It was a week later than expected but sheets of it are now stacked in every one of the rooms.
They were delivered just before a weather system delivered sheets of rain Wednesday night and Thursday. I don't know whether the rain kept workers away Thursday or whether they just had other projects that had greater priority but everything was quiet at 660 East today. Even the stucco workers stayed away.
The black felt and wire lath now surround the all the exterior walls of both houses. I imagine that they need dry weather to apply the coats of stucco.
Update:
Jeff said the drywall hangers were on their way this morning but they didn't show up. Now he says that they will work over the weekend in order to catch up. Pictures to follow.
