Bricks Rising

The roofers continue to nail down shingles on the topside.

Meanwhile, down below, folks are whipping up mortar, moving pallets of bricks from the truck, and laying out the first rows of brick.
 After two rows of brick, a "soldiering" row is set in place. That is, the bricks stand on end, like soldiers!

By the end of the day the front of the north garage had a beautiful, red brick apron!
