Action in the Houses: Shelving and Cabinet Boxes

Now that the trenches have been filled again and trucks can once again get to the dirt that is our future driveway, Work is moving along inside the houses.

The finish carpenter has been building the shelves in closets and mudroom.

The cabinet maker has installed some of the boxes in the kitchen that will house the cabinetry and you can see the masked floor that the painter has placed in preparation for spraying paint on the walls.

In addition, the carpenter has constructed the partition that will
provide kids with safety on the top of the slide platform.

We are still trying to sort out all the light switches and the boxes to which they belong.

One frustration we are having is arranging for internet service. Google Fiber, which we have been pleased with here in our current home is feeding us different stories each time we call about installation at our new home. We are hoping that we can be up and running by the time we move into the house.
